Campus Safety

 

At Point Park University, our students are our top priority. The Department of Public Safety is at work 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide a safe, secure living and learning environment for our university community.

In addition to our 24-hour dispatch response team, Public Safety serves the university through a variety of policies and personnel.

We offer:

  • Point ALERT Emergency Notification System for mobile devices

  • Building security

  • ID Center

  • Crime prevention guidance for students and their families

  • Emergency Management services

  • A publicly available Annual Security Report

  • Trained, uniformed police officers on and around campus

 

Safe Campus, the National Campus Safety Summit, named Point Park University’s Public Safety Department to the Safe Campus 2016 Top 25 List.
